On Farm Communications Training Series

This hands on training series follows real farming practices throughout the growing season, giving you the knowledge and confidence to better connect with producers. Attendees are encouraged to attend all three sessions, but that is not a requirement.

The Beginner Series is designed for those newer to agriculture, and covers the full growing season from planting through harvest. Training dates corresponding to the cropping season are scheduled for May 13, July 15, and October 7.

The BMP Effects Estimator Tool (BEET) Planner estimates reductions on the watershed scale as a result of new BMPs being installed, while the Forestry Estimator for Runoff and Nutrients (FERN) estimates water quality benefits from the installation of forestry BMPSs.
