History

The 1955 Minnesota Watershed Act required watershed districts to develop and implement watershed management plans.

Plan Requirements

The watershed management plan must give a narrative description of:

  • existing water resources;
  • existing water-related problems within the watershed district;
  • possible solutions to the problems; and
  • general objectives of the watershed district.

Status of Plans Statewide
