An overview of the MNDNR's efforts regarding the management of ash dominated stands on state lands in Minnesota in response to Emerald Ash Borer. The video presentation discusses current EAB quarantine areas in Minnesota, rules regarding movement of ash and hardwood materials, signs and symptoms of EAB infestation in ash and recommendations for reporting possible EAB issues. It also covers the ash resource priorities, challenges and opportunities throughout the state. Possible management options and suggestions are offered for different types of ash dominated stands. This course will address concepts related to SFI FMS PM 11.2 1 b, c, and d and SFI FSS PM 6.2 1 b, c, and d. The quiz for this course must be completed to receive credit. The first question of the quiz includes instructions and the link to the online training. Results of the quiz are automatically sent to MLEP. Upon successful completion of the quiz, a certificate of completion is available to be printed for your records.
