Training Description:
The Phosphorus Index (P Index) is a model used to estimate (you guessed it) phosphorus loss. During this session Dr. Lindsay Pease (UMN) will explain what the P Index is, how to use it to assess phosphorus loss risk for fertilizer applications on cropland, and when the tool should be used. Attendees are recommended to have a basic understanding of nutrient management and the MN P Index tool.
