NRCS-SWCD forestry partnership supports fire safety in northeastern Minnesota

Landowners’ work with North St. Louis SWCD and Farm Bill foresters to remove dead and dying balsam fir, a fire hazard left in the wake of a spruce budworm outbreak, was made possible through the Arrowhead Forest Partnership.
