Grant Description

A legislative directive provides Clean Water Funds to be contracted for services with the Conservation Corps of Minnesota. Through these grants, the Corps funds crew labor to eligible local governments through an application process hosted by the Conservation Corps.

Reporting Overview

CCMI Clean Water Fund dollars are available to local governments for Conservation Corps crew labor only. Clean Water Funds provide 100% of eligible crew labor costs. Applicants must provide a 25% match with local, federal or in-kind cash value (state funds cannot be used as match). Reporting on the use of CCMI funds is completed in eLINK by the Conservation Corps of Minnesota. Local governments who partner with CCMI to complete projects should report on-the-ground practices, associated indicators, and expenses—not including labor—under their own applicable grants in eLINK. Accomplishment outcomes, itemization of match, and project location mapping must be reported in eLINK upon project completion, in partnership with the Corps.

Clean Water Fund grant agreements stipulate that the grantee must “comply with requirements for project signage.” The logo may be displayed on legacy-funded construction projects; at access points to any land or water resources restored, protected, or enhanced through Legacy funds; or on printed and other materials funded with money from one or more of the funds. The Legacy logo should be prominently displayed on the grantee’s website.
